Cape Fear Try-Outs are on-going. Try-Outs for younger ages were Saturday and Sunday, 10/19 and 10/20, with National Tryouts Monday, 10/21. The Try-Out schedule for older groups will be posted soon, but the date is already set. 16-18's Try-Outs will begin on Sunday November 3rd. This is right after HS State Playoffs are completed and the first LEGAL date.
All of our Club Registration will be through PlayerSpace, a club management site. Your Try-Out fee will be paid there, as well as eventually club dues. That address is

We are still tweaking the site, but it is up and working. Please register for CFV there. You will be able to pay your Try-Out fee there as well. If paid in advance of the Try-Out date, you save $5 ($5 higher if you register onsite the day of tryouts).
We will be returning to "The Hanger" (1501 John Morris Rd, Wilmington NC 28405) this season. The impact of having a home is incredible. No other club in this area can offer this. We control our own schedule and can give you a set practice schedule, one that is not going to change because Basketball practice runs long, or the Wrestling team needs the gym. Consistency!
CFV can now offer much more in terms of additional practices and private training. We will also be conducting Volleyball specific training and conditioning at our facility that will be open to CFV members. We are adding training opportunities that no other club in this area can offer. It promises to be an exciting year at CFV.
In January 2013, CFV reached the 200 member mark. We had players from 7 to 18, from over 25 different schools, 14 travel teams and over 60 Dev/fPro kids (7-12's). That size means we can place players of all ages and abilities. Whether you are a National level player, or just beginning, you can grow with us. Multiple practices and private sessions are just part of what makes CFV a great place to be. Strong coaches and committed players add to the mix. Come grow with us!
